Wnba Champions 2020
It was a truly special season for the Storm, who also won the regular season title with a 26-8 record. They were led by two superstars in Breanna Stewart and Jewell Loyd, who were both named to the All-WNBA First Team. It was Stewart who took home Finals MVP honors after averaging 21.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per game in the series.
For the Aces, it was a case of so close but yet so far. They had a fantastic season as well, going 22-12 to finish second in the regular season standings before making their way through to the Finals. Unfortunately for them, they just couldn’t get over the line against Seattle and will no doubt be back next year looking to go one better.
All in all, it was a hugely successful 2020 WNBA season and we can’t wait for what 2021 has in store!
